Exploring the vast resources of mother nature

CIBI currently owns a quarry located in Burku near Kaduna. The granite deposit presently quarried by the company is known as AFRICAN MULTI COLOUR (AMC). The granite quarry covers a total area of 55,296 sq.m with an average volume of 1,105,120 cubic meter and average depth of about 20 meters. The deposit is covered by approved quarry lease (QLS 789) by the government of Nigeria for 5 years and renewable subsequently.

The quarry is equipped with the following machinery:

Four Air Compressor systems
Distribution system (air pressure hoses, couplings and clamps)
Drilling and cutting equipment including:

• Flame jet
• Pneumatic line drilling machine
• Pneumatic jack hammer
• Feather & wedges splitting unit
• Jacking unit
• Diamond Wire machine

Machines for lifting and block handling:

• Derrick crane
